- DIY Costume Idea: Juliet - have on a simple sheath dress with long full sleeves. Attach bands of fabric around the upper and lower arms. Your hair should be long and flowing, with a simple headband.
- DIY Costume Idea: Frankenstein's Monster and His Bride - For Frankenstein's Monster: wear a black shirt, black pants, and heavy black boots. Stuff the shoulders of the shirt to give them as much height as possible. Put on a green jacket. Buy a Frankenstein mask, or use bandages (dyed green) over padding on the top of your head and forehead, then top with a wig. Use make-up to give yourself green skin, black lips, and black fingernails. Make bolts out of painted styrofoam and either attach to your neck with spirit gum, or to a flesh-colored neck band. For the Bride: have on a white gown or make your own from a white bed sheet. Use pale make-up on your face with dark lipstick and dramatic eyes. If you don't have long hair your will need a long wig. To make the hairstyle, use a ball of fabric or paper on top of your head, with the hair pulled up and around it, tied off and tucked in. Use black and white temporary hair dye to finish off the Bride's look.
